Final Cook


Today was my final cook day this winter. In less than four weeks time the first plane arrives (and several more shortly after), bringing the summer staff to Halley. The summer will be very busy, and we will all have to focus on getting the maximum done in the short season, meaning no more cooking.

In the picture, fresh from the oven, is the rye bread and rolls I made this morning, ready to be served with tomato soup for lunch!
