This morning I got up unusually early for me, at 0630 (!) to capture a few shots of the Lunar Eclipse.
The eclipse was fully visible and it finished pretty much about an hour before the moon set, so we were lucky. The weather played ball — there was absolutely no clouds in the sky, very gentle breeze (4-6kt) and it wasn’t even too cold at -29°C.
I set up my camera on the tripod with the newly engineered external battery and proceeded to take a few short time lapse movies. Not all of them came out the way I imagined, but the final one is not too bad if a little short if I can say so myself.
Anyways, without further ado, please enjoy a couple of shots and the video!

Fantastic Mike
A real chance to be able to witness this from where you are with so little disturbance, awesome!
